Housekeeping Associate

About the role

The Housekeeping Associate will join Strategy Steamers’ on‑site team in Puri, ensuring guest rooms, common areas and service zones are clean, safe and welcoming. This full‑time position focuses on delivering high‑quality housekeeping services while supporting a positive guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and sanitising surfaces in assigned rooms and public spaces.
• Manage linen and laundry processes, including collection, washing, folding and redistribution.
• Replenish supplies and amenities to maintain stocked and orderly work areas.
• Report maintenance issues promptly and follow established cleaning procedures.
• Interact courteously with guests, responding to requests and providing assistance as needed.
• Adhere to hygiene, safety and quality standards at all times.

Required profile

• Ability to perform housekeeping and laundry duties efficiently with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Good organisational skills for time‑management and task prioritisation.
• Reliability, punctuality and a collaborative attitude.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, lift and carry items required for the role.
• Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping is advantageous but not mandatory.
