Housekeeper

About the role

SILA is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Housekeeper to join its facility management team in Mumbai. You will ensure that all assigned areas remain clean, hygienic, and welcoming for occupants and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and sanitising rooms, corridors, restrooms and common areas.
• Handle laundry duties, change linens, and replenish supplies as needed.
• Operate and store cleaning equipment safely, following established procedures.
• Report any maintenance issues promptly to the relevant team.
• Maintain a safe, orderly environment and interact courteously with clients and colleagues.

Required profile

• Ability to manage cleaning and laundry tasks efficiently while upholding hygiene standards.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Organisational ability to prioritise tasks and manage supplies.
• Willingness to undergo training and follow safety, cleaning and facility protocols.
• Previous housekeeping or facility‑management experience is preferred.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend and lift moderate weights for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products, equipment and sanitation procedures.
• Reliability, punctuality and flexibility to work varied shifts.
