Hotel Front Office Host

About the role

The Hotel Front Office Host is the first point of contact for guests, patients, visitors and staff at the Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel. You will deliver a warm welcome, manage reception duties and support the smooth operation of the hotel’s front‑office services in a busy, customer‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a professional reception service to guests, patients, visitors and staff.
• Welcome visitors, direct them to appropriate departments and facilities.
• Handle guest enquiries and advise on hotel services and local amenities.
• Operate the hotel switchboard and manage incoming calls efficiently.
• Process reservations, guest arrivals and departures.
• Support conference, housekeeping, food & beverage and other hotel services as required.
• Maintain accurate financial, billing and cash‑handling procedures.
• Ensure health, safety and security procedures are followed at all times.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Conference Hotel and National Hospital.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, customer‑focused individual with previous hotel reception or similar experience.
• Excellent communicator who remains calm and professional in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
