About the role
We are seeking a qualified pharmacist to join our on‑site pharmacy team at Sterling Hospital in Gandhidham. The successful candidate will ensure safe and accurate medication dispensing, provide patient counseling, and support clinical staff with drug‑related information.
Key responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately and verify all prescriptions.
- Counsel patients and caregivers on proper medication use, side effects, and storage.
- Review medication orders for potential interactions and contraindications.
- Provide drug information and support to doctors and nurses.
- Maintain formulary, manage stock levels, and ensure proper inventory control.
- Adhere to hospital policies, legal and regulatory requirements, and infection‑control practices.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records, participate in audits, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Registered pharmacist with a valid Gujarat local registration.
- B.Pharm or D.Pharm degree.
- Full‑time availability for on‑site work.
