Home Nursing Assistant – Clinical Home Visits

About the role

The Home Nursing Assistant works on clinical home‑visit assignments, providing advanced nursing procedures that go beyond basic care attendant tasks. You will serve patients across Bangalore, performing IV therapy, wound care, and other critical interventions under the supervision of a consulting clinical nurse.

Key responsibilities

• Administer scheduled IV fluids and medications as prescribed by doctors.
• Give intramuscular and sub‑cutaneous injections.
• Perform wound dressings, post‑surgical site care, and catheter insertion/change.
• Manage Ryle’s/NG tube insertion and replacement.
• Provide basic tracheostomy care and suction.
• Take detailed vital signs, document changes, and share signed notes with families and treating physicians.
• Coordinate daily plans with patient care attendants.
• Maintain and restock a personal visit kit monthly.
• Follow strict infection‑control protocols on every visit.
• Escalate any change in patient status to the clinical care manager immediately.

Required profile

• ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) or GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) diploma registered with the Karnataka State Nursing Council.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or home‑care setting.
• Comfortable with IV cannulation and IV medication administration.
• Fluent in English and at least one Indian language.
• Valid two‑wheeler license and willingness to travel for visits.
• Smartphone with internet access.
