HiL Test Engineer

About the role

Bosch is looking for a HiL Test Engineer to support the development and validation of next‑generation vehicle electronics. You will work on hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HiL) platforms to ensure body electronics functions meet quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop test specifications, scripts and frameworks for dSPACE HiL or Vector platforms.
• Execute test cases, debug failures, and log defects in the defect management system.
• Collaborate with system developers to analyse observed behavior and resolve issues.
• Promote test automation from the early stages of development.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in HiL testing, diagnostics and ECU communication.
• Good understanding of body‑electronics functions such as wiper, door control, lighting, or seat systems.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• CANoe, VTest Studio, CAPL, dSPACE HiL, Vector test benches.
• Communication protocols: CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, UDS, DoIP.
• Scripting/programming: Python, Perl, C, C++, PTTA, Provetech.
• Experience with test automation, diagnostics, network management and HIL environment setup.
