About the role
Gartner is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to provide first‑line technical assistance to internal users and clients. In this hybrid position you will troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, ensuring timely resolution and high service quality.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to incoming support tickets via phone, email and chat, diagnosing and resolving IT incidents.
- Escalate complex problems to senior teams while maintaining clear communication with users.
- Document solutions and update knowledge‑base articles.
- Assist with onboarding of new devices, software installations and configuration.
- Participate in periodic system maintenance and monitoring activities.
Required profile
- Strong analytical mindset with a passion for technology.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
- Commitment to delivering high‑quality support and continuous improvement.
Required skills
- Experience with common operating systems (Windows, macOS) and office productivity tools.
