Healthcare Support Worker – Orthopaedic Team

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Healthcare Support Worker to join our Orthopaedic nursing team. You will deliver both clinical and non‑clinical care under the direction of Registered Nurses, supporting a busy orthopaedic department.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out delegated clinical duties such as patient observations, hygiene assistance and mobility support.
• Perform non‑clinical tasks including equipment preparation, stock management and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with nurses and allied health professionals to ensure safe, high‑quality patient care.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in line with infection‑control standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is essential.
• Enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills.
• Genuine interest in working within a fast‑paced orthopaedic department.
