Health & Safety Expert – Hydropower & Pumped Storage

About the role

The Health & Safety Expert will lead the HSE management system for a pumped storage hydropower project in Panaura, Uttar Pradesh. You will ensure compliance with safety regulations, contractual requirements and international best practices while fostering a safe work environment for all personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSE plans and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
• Monitor and control work permits and PPE compliance.
• Investigate incidents and near‑misses, producing corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training and promote awareness across the project.
• Review and update risk assessments and method statements.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and statutory inspections.
• Prepare and present HSE performance reports.

Required profile

• Graduate Engineer degree.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in HSE roles on large infrastructure projects.
