Head of Training – STEM, Robotics & AI Education

About the role

Robokidz is seeking its founding Head of Training to design and lead a nation‑wide training vertical for Young Engineers’ Academy (YEA!). The role will create a scalable system that turns technically strong engineers into top‑class child educators across India.

Key responsibilities

• Design and run a Train‑the‑Trainer certification program with defined levels (L1‑L3, Master Trainer), assessments and progression criteria.
• Develop trainer‑ready lesson plans, demo scripts, project guides and age‑band playbooks for robotics, AI, 3D printing, electronics, coding and IoT.
• Coach trainers on classroom presence, storytelling and parent communication, creating a dedicated playbook.
• Define quality standards, conduct classroom audits, track trainer and parent NPS, and monitor re‑enrolment rates.
• Hire, mentor and manage Master Trainers and regional training leads as the centre network expands.
• Own the training budget, select and maintain tooling such as LMS, video libraries and assessment platforms.

Required profile

• 8‑14 years of experience in education, training or EdTech, with at least 3 years leading train‑the‑trainer or faculty development programs.
• Engineering or applied‑tech background (Mechanical, Electronics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Robotics, AI/ML or similar) with credibility across multiple disciplines.
• Proven experience teaching or managing trainers for learners aged 6‑14.
• Strong storytelling ability and comfort presenting technical concepts to children and parents.
