Head of Flight Training Operations – ATC (India & South Asia)

About the role

The Head of Flight Training Operations will lead Airbus Training Centre activities across India and South Asia. Reporting to the General Manager, the role oversees ab‑initio, type‑rating and flight operations training while ensuring business continuity and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Inspire and manage a multi‑disciplinary team of Training Delivery Managers, planners, coordinators and contractual trainers.
• Coordinate with all internal departments to meet business targets, maintain training records and prepare for internal and regulatory audits.
• Lead procurement, contract preparation, PO issuance and credit management for training services.
• Develop financial forecasts, AOP, CAPEX dossiers and cost‑optimization strategies for the training portfolio.
• Represent the centre in meetings with airline customers, vendors and suppliers to optimise training operations.
• Ensure facilities, security and customer‑feedback processes meet regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in aviation or flight training environments.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for flight training and maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross‑functional teams and drive professional growth.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
