Head of Finance & Controlling – Business Hub Bangalore

About the role

The Head of Finance & Controlling will lead the financial and governance function for the ContiTech Business Hub in Bangalore. Reporting to the Business Hub Lead, you will be responsible for building transparent financial processes, strengthening governance, and ensuring compliance across the hub’s operations.

Key responsibilities

• Drive financial transparency by managing operating costs, budgets, forecasts, allocations and performance reporting.
• Establish and run financial steering routines such as monthly business reviews, variance analysis and cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic investment and business decisions.
• Design and continuously improve governance structures, approval workflows, delegation of authority frameworks and decision‑making processes.
• Act as trusted advisor on risk, control and governance matters for Business Hub leadership.
• Coordinate local compliance, internal and external audit activities, and lead remediation of audit findings.
• Maintain a strong control environment covering approvals, documentation standards and record retention.
• Collaborate with India Finance, GBS, Tax, Legal and other central functions to ensure aligned financial planning and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in finance, controlling or financial governance within a large, matrixed organization.
• Proven track record of building transparent financial reporting and cost‑management processes.
• Strong knowledge of governance, risk and compliance frameworks and audit coordination.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to influence senior leadership across finance, tax, legal and operations.
• Ability to lead and develop finance teams in a fast‑growing business hub environment.
