Head of Finance and Accounting

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Head of Finance and Accounting to lead all finance and accounting activities for Curo India Private Limited in New Delhi. This senior position will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, cash management and compliance, partnering closely with senior leadership to drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with applicable standards.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes and coordinate external audits.
• Develop, monitor and control budgets, forecasts and variance analysis.
• Maintain robust internal controls, manage cash flow and oversee taxation and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with senior management on financial policies, risk management and cost optimisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Professional qualification such as CA, CPA or MBA in Finance.
• Extensive experience leading finance and accounting functions within the Indian business environment.
• Strong analytical abilities with a track record of supporting strategic decision‑making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
