Head of Community

About the role

Prequate is looking for a Head of Community to nurture and expand the deep relationships that drive its success. This senior position focuses on building trust‑based networks across founders, alumni, industry experts, and internal teams, rather than traditional marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Own and safeguard the private Prequate Table, an invite‑only forum for senior founders and operators.
• Maintain warm, non‑transactional connections with past clients, alumni, and board members.
• Develop and engage the broader industry practitioner community, ensuring Prequate’s presence feels substantive.
• Curate and grow the talent and expert network of advisors, freelance analysts, and specialists.
• Foster a strong internal community among Prequate employees.
• Plan and execute roundtables, dinners, webinars, and off‑site events, carefully selecting participants for each conversation.
• Produce targeted thought‑leadership content, newsletters, and insight distribution to keep communities engaged between events.
• Manage the day‑to‑day platform where each community interacts, whether a private member space or internal tool.
• Build connective partnerships that turn goodwill into introductions without feeling transactional.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on community management experience, accountable for a community’s health.
• Proven track record of building a community from near‑zero and sustaining active participation over years.
• Background in consulting, advisory, or professional services networks is a strong plus.
• No formal degree required; demonstrated results matter most.
