Hardware Engineer – Consumer Electronics

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Hardware Engineer to develop consumer‑electronics products within Bosch's technology powerhouse in India. You will work on board‑level designs, from concept through validation, supporting both consumer and industrial applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design microcontroller boards and associated peripheral circuits.
• Create analog and digital schematics, power‑supply modules (Buck, Boost, LDO, Linear, Flyback) and motor‑control drivers (BDC, BLDC, servo).
• Develop MOSFET driver circuits, current‑sensing solutions and communication interfaces such as SPI, RS485, USB, Ethernet and PROFINET.
• Perform component selection, BOM preparation, thermal analysis and SPICE simulations.
• Ensure EMI/EMC compliance, produce layout guidelines and conduct PCB layout using Altium, ORCAD or Mentor Graphics.
• Lead board bring‑up, testing, troubleshooting and system‑level validation using equipment like DSO, signal generators, thermal imagers and data loggers.
• Document hardware design data sheets, test plans and test reports.

Required profile

• B.E./M.E. in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation (3‑10 years of experience).
• Hands‑on experience with microcontroller board design and power‑supply circuits.
• Familiarity with motor‑control hardware and MOSFET driver topologies.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical information clearly.
