Handicrafts Designer – Home Décor & Lifestyle

About the role

We are looking for a creative Designer specialized in home décor, handicrafts and lifestyle products to join ANK Exports, a 30‑year‑old export house expanding into pet products and décor. The role supports product development, buyer research, presentation design and social‑media coordination for global retail markets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct product and trend research for EU, USA and UK markets.
• Create concept boards, curate product selections and provide design inputs.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations, line sheets and catalogues for buyers.
• Collaborate with the social‑media agency to generate content ideas and share product information.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in an export house, home‑decor, lifestyle brand or buying office.
• Exposure to handicrafts, home décor and lifestyle product ranges.
• Graduate degree in Design, Fashion, Textile or Fine Arts (Tier‑1 institute preferred).
• MBA with a design focus is a strong advantage; ideal candidates are NIFT alumni.

Required skills

• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel proficiency.
• Basic design sense for colours, materials and styling.
• Strong written English for emails and presentations.
• Market and trend research capability.
• Familiarity with Rhino, KeyShot and Corel software.
