Gym Receptionist

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and organized Gym Receptionist to be the first point of contact for members and visitors. You will manage front‑desk operations, handle enquiries about memberships and pricing, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere at our fitness centre.

Key responsibilities

• Greet members and visitors, answering walk‑in and phone/WhatsApp enquiries about memberships, pricing and services.
• Register new members, process sign‑ups, renewals and payments (cash, UPI, card).
• Maintain accurate records of memberships, attendance and payment collections.
• Answer phone calls and other enquiries, follow up on leads and schedule trial sessions.
• Handle basic complaints and escalate issues to the manager when necessary.
• Keep the reception and front‑desk area clean and orderly.
• Coordinate with trainers regarding member schedules, trial sessions and class bookings.
• Track and report daily walk‑ins, conversions and collections to management.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Customer‑service oriented with a positive attitude.
• Ability to handle cash and electronic payments securely.
• Team player who can collaborate with trainers and management.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy for data entry and record keeping.
• Familiarity with cash handling and electronic payment methods (UPI, card).
