Guest Services Associate – Front Office

About the role

Join Marriott International as a Guest Services Associate in the Front Office, where you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring smooth check‑ins, check‑outs and a memorable stay experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process guest check‑ins, check‑outs, room assignments and late‑check‑out requests.
• Secure payments, activate or re‑issue room keys, and manage billing adjustments.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping to monitor room status and address guest concerns.
• Operate the telephone switchboard, handle guest calls, and provide directions and information.
• Arrange transportation, manage cash drawers, and process all payment types.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, credit‑card authorisations and contingency lists.
• Uphold Marriott’s service standards, safety policies and confidentiality requirements.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Basic computer operation, including hotel Property Management System (PMS).
• Telephone switchboard handling.
