Guest Service Associate – Housekeeping

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Guest Service Associate specialized in housekeeping to join our team at Mercure Hyderabad KCP. You will ensure that guest rooms and public areas are spotless, safe, and welcoming, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and assigned spaces according to established standards.
• Use cleaning equipment, supplies, and chemicals safely and efficiently.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and housekeeping‑related concerns.
• Restock amenities, linens, and supplies as needed.
• Inspect rooms and public areas for cleanliness, functionality, and maintenance issues.
• Report damages, deficiencies, or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Maintain organized storage areas and manage inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs.

Required profile

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar hospitality role (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Thorough knowledge of cleaning techniques, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time‑management and organizational abilities.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
• Basic communication skills in English and local languages.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a positive, professional attitude.
• Relevant hospitality certifications (optional).
