Guest Service Associate – Front Office & F&B

About the role

We are looking for a Guest Service Associate to deliver professional and friendly service to our guests at ibis Thane. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring every stay exceeds expectations while supporting the Front Office and Food & Beverage teams.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests according to brand standards.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints and requests promptly and courteously.
• Coordinate with all hotel departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Manage room inventory, assign rooms, and oversee luggage handling.
• Set up and inspect operating equipment, linen, and condiments before service.
• Take guest orders, advise on menu specials, and ensure accurate billing in the absence of the Assistant Manager.
• Promote hotel facilities and upsell services using product knowledge.
• Report equipment malfunctions, emergencies or security concerns to management.

Required profile

• Diploma in Tourism & Hospitality Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar guest service role.
• Excellent reading, writing and oral communication skills in English.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work under pressure.
