Guest Relations Specialist

About the role

The Guest Relations Specialist is a full‑time, on‑site position at Ocean Palms Goa, a resort on the scenic Gauravaddo lane near Calangute Beach. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome, smooth check‑in/out, and a memorable stay.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, manage check‑ins and check‑outs, and maintain accurate guest records.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, handle special requests, and resolve issues with professionalism.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, food & beverage, and other departments to fulfill guest needs.
• Promote resort services, upgrades, and packages to enhance revenue.
• Maintain compliance with established service standards and procedures.

Required profile

• Strong guest relations and customer service orientation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Prior experience in hospitality, front office, or a guest‑facing role preferred.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field is beneficial.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel management or reservation systems and standard office software.
• Basic sales ability to promote resort offerings.
