Guest Relations Executive & Waiter/Waitress

About the role

IKAYI is launching a contemporary Indian rooftop restaurant in Lucknow and seeks enthusiastic hospitality professionals to be the face of the brand. As a Guest Relations Executive and Waiter/Waitress you will ensure every guest enjoys a warm, personalized experience from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and escort guests with genuine hospitality, manage reservations, waiting lists and table allocations.
• Handle special requests, celebrations and feedback, resolving concerns promptly while maintaining service standards.
• Present menus confidently, take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, and serve according to established standards.
• Anticipate guest needs, coordinate with kitchen and bar teams, and process bills and payments accurately.
• Recommend menu items, chef’s specials, premium drinks and promote offers to meet sales and satisfaction targets.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of dining areas, service stations and guest touchpoints.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and health regulations at all times.
• Support opening and closing procedures and collaborate with colleagues for smooth operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in restaurants, hotels, cafés, lounges or luxury hospitality is preferred.
• Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills with a professional etiquette.
• Strong verbal communication, positive and energetic attitude.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Teamwork, problem‑solving abilities and basic numeracy.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
