Group Internal Auditor – Pune

About the role

Sandvik Coromant is seeking a Group Internal Auditor to provide independent, objective assurance and consulting across its operations. The role supports risk management, internal controls, and governance processes to help the company achieve its strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the IA Operational Manager and GIA team in scoping internal audits, including data analysis and initial interviews.
• Plan audit activities such as scheduling interviews, extracting relevant data, and researching technical subjects.
• Execute internal audits independently through desktop reviews, onsite visits, and remote work following the GIA methodology.
• Conduct periodic update meetings with stakeholders, report findings, root causes, and risk assessments.
• Prepare draft audit reports and facilitate interim and exit meetings with auditee management.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of audit processes, risk assessment, and internal control frameworks.
• Ability to work independently and manage audit timelines.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with audit teams and auditee organizations.
