Group Financial Reporting & Consolidation Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Group Financial Reporting & Consolidation Lead to own and drive the monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation of our Group profit & loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements. The role ensures accurate, complete and timely reporting while acting as the primary liaison between finance, IT, corporate secretariat and external auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end consolidation of Group financial statements, including sub‑consolidations.
• Maintain and manage a robust close calendar covering entity submissions, consolidation activities and reporting timelines.
• Perform detailed financial statement reviews, identify risk areas, mismatches and provide insights to management.
• Prepare consolidated financial reports and statutory reporting packs; support external disclosures.
• Collaborate with Corporate Secretariat, FP&A and Group Controller teams to align internal and external reporting.
• Own the consolidation system implementation, enhancements and automation initiatives.
• Partner with IT and SAP CoE to drive system upgrades, data integration and process efficiencies.
• Lead continuous process improvements and strengthen internal controls around consolidation.
• Serve as SME on IFRS, providing guidance, training and change‑management support.
• Manage interactions with group and country auditors, handling audit documentation and technical accounting queries.
• Mentor and develop a high‑performing consolidation team.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in group financial reporting, consolidation and statutory reporting.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS and complex accounting estimates/disclosures.
• Proven ability to lead large‑scale finance projects and system implementations.
• Strong audit liaison experience and ability to manage audit processes.
• Leadership experience with team building and coaching capabilities.
