Graphic Designer – In‑Office (Goa)

About the role

The Global Voice is seeking an in‑office Graphic Designer to shape the visual identity of its geopolitics media platform. Based in Goa, you will own the look and feel across social, editorial, and audio‑visual assets.

Key responsibilities

• Design daily social media assets for Instagram, LinkedIn and X.
• Create article feature images, YouTube thumbnails and podcast cover art.
• Develop infographics and data visualisations that simplify complex geopolitical topics.
• Maintain and evolve the brand design system – colours, typography, grids and component templates.
• Produce newsletter headers, email banners and other email visual assets.
• Collaborate with the video editor on motion‑graphics, title cards and lower thirds.
• Leverage AI design tools (Adobe Firefly, Canva AI, Midjourney) to accelerate production.
• Assist with basic video editing as the team expands.

Required profile

• 1–4 years of professional design experience.
• Strong portfolio showcasing editorial design, large‑scale social content and brand work.
• Proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Clear editorial design sensibility suited to a news brand.
• Ability to deliver multiple polished assets quickly without quality loss.
• Understanding of visual requirements for each platform.
• Willingness to grow into video‑editing responsibilities.
• Immediate availability to work onsite in Goa.
