Golf Course Worker II – Part‑time

About the role

Under the close supervision of the Golf Course Division Manager and/or Clubhouse Manager, the Golf Course Worker II provides skilled support for the pro shop, cart fleet, and driving range. This part‑time position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and interacting with golfers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with pro‑shop operations, including starter duties and customer service.
• Maintain and charge golf carts, perform routine inspections and minor repairs.
• Operate and service range equipment such as ball pickers, ball washers, and pressure washers.
• Perform general golf‑course maintenance using mowers, washers, and other equipment.
• Report any issues that could affect course usability to the Clubhouse Manager.
• Handle clerical tasks including data entry, filing, and basic accounting related to equipment usage.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
• At least two years of golf‑related experience or one year of experience at River Oaks Golf Course.
• Minimum age of 16 and a valid Utah Learner’s Permit or Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of customer‑service practices, basic office procedures, and OSHA safety standards.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.

Required skills

• Operation of pressure washers.
• Golf cart maintenance and charging.
• Mower operation.
• Ball picker and ball washer usage.
• Data entry and word‑processing.

• Hourly wage ranging from $13.10 to $18.00.
