Golf Course Worker II

About the role

The Golf Course Worker II supports the Golf Course Division Manager and Clubhouse Manager in daily operations of the River Oaks Golf Course. This part‑time position involves pro‑shop duties, cart maintenance, and range upkeep, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for golfers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers in the pro shop, handling sales and equipment rentals.
• Maintain and charge golf carts, operate pressure washers, and perform routine equipment cleaning.
• Operate and service range equipment such as ball pickers, ball washers, and mowers.
• Perform general maintenance tasks following OSHA safety standards.
• Report any equipment or facility issues to the Clubhouse Manager promptly.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
• At least two years of golf‑related experience or one year of experience at River Oaks Golf Course.
• Minimum age of 16 and a valid Utah driver’s license or learner’s permit.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work safely with maintenance tools.

Required skills

• Operation of pressure washers and washing equipment.
• Charging and maintenance of golf cart batteries.
• Use of ball pickers, ball washers, and turf mowers.
• Basic data entry and word‑processing proficiency.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and general maintenance procedures.

• Hourly wage ranging from $13.10 to $18.00.
