Global Security Verification Manager

About the role

KONE is looking for a seasoned cybersecurity leader to head its newly created Global Security Verification team at the KONE Technology Center in Chennai. You will define and execute the global strategy for security verification and validation across KONE’s products and digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the global security verification & validation roadmap.
• Build and lead a distributed team of security test engineers in Finland, India, China and the US.
• Standardize tools, processes and reporting to eliminate testing bottlenecks.
• Oversee penetration testing, bug bounty programs and external testing partners.
• Introduce AI‑assisted testing automation, including security‑requirements automation and defect‑mapping dashboards.
• Integrate security verification into the KONE Secure Development & Operations lifecycle.
• Represent KONE in customer audits, IEC 62443‑4‑1 certifications and industry forums.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, software or R&D, with 5+ years leading security testing or V&V teams.
• M.Sc. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience leading geographically distributed teams, preferably across India, Finland, China and the US.
• Strong knowledge of IEC 62443‑4‑1, EU CRA and other global security standards.
• Excellent English communication and influencing skills.
