Global Finance Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Global Finance Controller to lead finance operations for a leading Indian manufacturing organization with a strong international footprint. This strategic position partners directly with senior management and oversees financial governance across multiple global entities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end financial controllership for several international subsidiaries.
• Oversee accounting, month‑end and year‑end close, and statutory financial reporting.
• Manage consolidation of financial statements across global entities.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and management reporting.
• Ensure robust internal controls, compliance and governance.
• Handle direct and indirect taxation, transfer pricing, statutory compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Lead statutory audits and serve as primary finance liaison for external auditors.
• Support treasury and banking operations.
• Oversee plant finance and cost accounting activities.
• Leverage SAP to improve finance processes and reporting efficiency.
• Mentor and develop a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification (mandatory).
• 12‑15+ years of progressive finance and controllership experience.
• Strong background in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience managing multiple legal entities and financial consolidations.
• Deep understanding of financial accounting, taxation, audits, budgeting and internal controls.
• Experience with global operations or multinational businesses is a plus.
