About the role

The Institute seeks a Project Manager to coordinate nationally funded research, development and innovation (R&D&I) projects. The role supports researchers throughout the project lifecycle, from identifying funding opportunities to final reporting and closure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage collaborative and individual R&D projects funded by national and regional calls, ensuring technical, financial and administrative compliance.
• Prepare technical and economic justifications, audit documentation, and consortium agreements.
• Organise project meetings, events and dissemination activities.
• Track personnel grants, maintain internal databases and reporting tools.
• Identify and communicate new funding opportunities to research teams.
• Advise investigators on proposal preparation, eligibility and administrative requirements.
• Coordinate with internal administrative units such as procurement and HR.
• Participate in process‑improvement initiatives for the national and regional project portfolio.

• Ability to work independently and support researchers without direct scientific involvement.
