About the role

Indegene is seeking a senior GEO Strategist to lead Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) initiatives for pharma clients. You will act as the strategic backbone of AI‑driven search engagements, translating business goals into actionable GEO roadmaps and ensuring measurable impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive GEO strategies covering entity optimization, content authority, structured data, and LLM discoverability for pharma brands and therapeutic areas.
• Conduct GEO audits and maturity assessments, identify AI search readiness gaps, and define prioritized optimization roadmaps.
• Advise clients on AI‑first content transformation, including supply‑chain restructuring, governance models, and publishing workflows.
• Lead client workshops and discovery sessions, aligning GEO initiatives with broader commercial and omnichannel objectives.
• Collaborate with leadership, account teams, and delivery squads to design solution frameworks and ensure engagements are grounded in pharma domain reality.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategy development and client advisory within pharma, digital, or technology consulting.
• Strong understanding of AI‑driven search ecosystems such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Bing Copilot, and emerging LLM platforms.
• Ability to translate technical GEO concepts into clear business narratives for brand, digital, medical, and C‑suite stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills for leading strategic workshops.
