General Medicine Physician (Full-time, On-site)

About the role

MediVaah is seeking a qualified General Medicine Physician to join its on‑site team in Kasaragod, Kerala. The professional will deliver comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care, ensuring evidence‑based diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of medical conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Take detailed medical histories and perform thorough physical examinations.
• Diagnose, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans for acute and chronic illnesses.
• Order, interpret, and act on laboratory and imaging investigations.
• Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and facilitate referrals.
• Educate patients on disease prevention, lifestyle changes, and medication adherence.
• Participate in clinical protocols, quality‑improvement initiatives, and uphold safety and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• MBBS degree from a recognized institution with valid registration with the Indian Medical Council.
• Strong clinical skills in General Medicine, including management of acute and chronic conditions.
• Experience of up to 3 years in hospital or clinic settings, preferably community or primary care.
• Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, confidentiality, and continuous learning.
• Post‑graduate qualification in Internal Medicine or related field is an advantage.
