General Manager – Travel Operations (Bengaluru)

About the role

The General Manager will lead the Bengaluru operations centre for dnata Travel, ensuring high‑quality front and back‑office services, regulatory compliance, and achievement of business KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies to drive operational excellence, service quality, productivity, cost efficiency and sustainable growth.
• Oversee end‑to‑end contact centre operations, meeting customer service standards and continuously improving performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, government authorities and industry partners to support business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance, regulatory and legal requirements while promoting ethical conduct and risk management.
• Lead business continuity, innovation, process improvement, automation and technology adoption initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Honours.
• Minimum 10 + years senior BPO, commercial or operational experience in travel or related sectors.
• At least 5 + years site leadership experience managing 500+ FTE.
• Prior experience in a global, multi‑site contact centre environment.
• Strong financial management, budgeting, cost control and performance measurement skills.
