General Manager

About the role

The General Manager will lead Green Oasis Tours & Travels Services in Malappuram, overseeing all operational aspects of the travel business. This full‑time, on‑site role ensures high‑quality service delivery and drives growth across domestic and international travel offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, including sales, customer service, ticketing, tour packages and ancillary travel services.
• Lead, mentor and develop a diverse team, setting performance goals and monitoring results.
• Manage budgets, track key business metrics and identify opportunities for market expansion and new product development.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers, handling escalated issues.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and people‑development abilities.
• Proven experience in travel and tourism operations, including ticketing and tour package management.
• Business planning, budgeting and analytical expertise.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Tourism, Hospitality Management or related field; advanced qualifications a plus.
• Prior senior or general management experience in travel or hospitality.
• Fluency in English and local languages beneficial.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Malappuram.
