General Manager - Construction & Projects

About the role

MicroMitti, a PropTech platform founded in 2024 and headquartered in Indore, deploys its own capital alongside investors into whole, undivided land and development assets. Its General Manager - Construction & Projects reports to the Founder & CEO and owns end-to-end delivery of the infrastructure and development portfolio, from planning, approvals and procurement through execution, commissioning and handover. On-time, on-budget, on-spec delivery is directly tied to investor trust and returns.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Infrastructure & Projects division across residential, commercial, IT-park (Cyber City) and plotted developments, delivering projects within scope, budget, quality and timeline, with monitoring and review mechanisms.
• Ensure successful commissioning, handover and closure of projects.
• Lead construction from mobilization to completion, ensuring adherence to approved designs, specifications and quality standards, and drive productivity improvements and best practices.
• Oversee contractor selection, procurement and vendor management for large civil contracts, ensuring contracts are complete and enforceable before sign-off with Legal, and monitor contractor performance and bill certification.
• Ensure compliance with RERA, environmental, fire-safety and building-code requirements, and maintain project documentation, audit and inspection records.
• Provide accurate, single-source project status, cost and risk reporting to leadership, and coordinate with Design, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Sales and investors.
• Lead and mentor project managers, engineers and site teams, setting performance metrics and review mechanisms.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory); MBA/PGDM in Operations, Infrastructure or Project Management preferred.
• 15-20+ years in real estate, infrastructure, EPC or township development, managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
• Strong exposure to residential, commercial, IT-park and mixed-use developments.
