GB/G Manager - Business Accounting

About the role

Lead end‑to‑end Business Accounting operations for BASF’s new Global Hub in India. You will oversee Project Accounting, Product Costing, Cost Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis and Financial Reporting while driving financial governance and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month‑end close, financial reporting, cost allocations, profitability analysis and inventory valuation.
• Ensure accuracy, compliance and integrity of financial and management accounting information.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, annual operating planning and performance reporting processes.
• Provide insights on EBIT, profitability, cost optimisation and overall business performance.
• Lead audits, internal controls and compliance activities across global BASF business units.
• Support stakeholder management and process transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading Business Accounting functions such as Project Accounting, Product Costing and Profitability Analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial governance, budgeting and forecasting.
• Ability to manage cross‑functional teams and interact with global stakeholders.
