GB/G Collection Associate Analyst

About the role

The GB/G Collection Associate Analyst will support BASF’s finance team by executing collection activities and reconciling accounts for low‑complexity third‑party customers. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with global finance and HR functions while contributing to the new Global Hub in India.

Key responsibilities

• Contact customers via email, phone, or WhatsApp and send updated account statements.
• Provide necessary information to the Accounts Receivable team to ensure accurate payment application.
• Maintain up‑to‑date customer data in the Get Paid collection tool.
• Communicate billing discrepancies to the relevant internal teams.
• Participate in ad‑hoc client and business meetings.
• Follow established processes and support internal/external audit preparation.
• Assist in small projects under guidance of a focal person.
• Monitor KPIs such as Overdue and DSO for the assigned portfolio and provide explanations when required.

Required profile

• Graduate in International Relations, Communication, or related field, or equivalent customer‑service experience.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in finance, collections, or customer service.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, fast‑paced global environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Required skills

• Basic Excel proficiency.
• Basic SAP knowledge.
• Intermediate skills in the Get Paid collection tool.
