Funds Attorney (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Funds Attorney to join a leading global financial services player on a contractual basis. The role is fully remote and focuses on providing legal expertise for investment fund operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting complex fund transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate fund agreements such as limited partnership agreements, subscription documents, and side letters.
• Advise internal teams on regulatory compliance, including securities laws and investment fund regulations.
• Provide legal guidance on fund structuring, governance, and day‑to‑day operational matters.
• Support due‑diligence processes for fund investments and related transactions.
• Monitor and interpret changes in relevant laws and regulations affecting fund operations.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience focusing on investment funds, private equity, or venture capital.
• Strong drafting and negotiation abilities with fund documentation.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
