About the role

MITTI Café is seeking a dedicated Cook to join its inclusive café network in Bengaluru. You will prepare a variety of café‑style dishes, follow standardized recipes, and ensure high standards of hygiene and safety while working alongside a diverse team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to standard recipes and portion sizes.
• Perform food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and cooking.
• Set up and maintain kitchen stations, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
• Store ingredients properly, minimize waste, and support inventory checks.
• Collaborate with café team members, including adults with diverse abilities, to deliver consistent, timely service.

Required profile

• Ability to prepare basic café‑style meals with knowledge of recipes and portion control.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene practices, and proper ingredient handling.
• Basic kitchen organization skills, including station setup and cleaning routines.
• Capacity to work in a fast‑paced environment and coordinate with team members.
• Strong commitment to inclusion, respect, and teamwork.
• Prior experience as a cook or kitchen assistant is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and participate in training programs.
• Availability to work on‑site in Bengaluru with flexible café operating hours.
