About the role
Airbus is seeking a Junior Full Stack Software Developer to join its Digital for Mass Properties & Structure testing team in Bangalore. You will design, develop, and maintain multidisciplinary optimisation solutions that support product architecture across the aerospace portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Assemble and edit source code repositories to build the required software stack.
- Develop new features and fix defects in Java‑based back‑ends and React/Angular front‑ends.
- Migrate applications to newer tools and cloud platforms as needed.
- Ensure designs comply with architectural blueprints and internal standards.
- Participate in all phases of the software lifecycle, from specification to deployment.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- 3‑6 years of professional IT experience.
- Strong understanding of compliance and integrity requirements.
Required skills
- Java (3+ years), Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Security.
- React, Angular, JSF, REST APIs, Single Page Application development.
- AWS core services (EC2, S3, ELB, RDS, API Gateway, CloudWatch) and OpenShift.
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, responsive web design.
- SQL databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL).
- Asynchronous programming, multithreading, Git, CI/CD pipelines.
- Python and shell scripting (advantageous).
- ITSM tools (ServiceNow), Jira, Linux OS, test‑driven development, Agile/Scrum or SAFe.
