Full Stack Python Developer – Software Engineer II

About the role

Join Deloitte's National Consulting Services as a Software Engineer II, building enterprise‑grade applications that drive innovation across the firm’s technology ecosystem. You will work on both backend and frontend components, leveraging AI‑enabled tools, cloud, and container technologies to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications across backend and frontend.
• Build and support secure APIs using Python frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
• Translate UI designs into functional features with React.js or Angular and TypeScript.
• Implement testing, code‑quality, and CI/CD practices to improve reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with product, DevOps, and engineering teams to deliver features and mentor junior members.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in full‑stack or backend software engineering.
• Proven experience building production APIs with Python (FastAPI or Flask).
• Experience developing frontend applications using React.js or Angular with TypeScript.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Git, automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other SQL databases and caching technologies such as Redis.
• Exposure to AI‑assisted development tools is a plus.
