Full Stack Engineer (Senior Platform Engineer)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer who will act as the architectural backbone for the backend services that power Weave Engineering's developer experience. You will bridge frontend tooling and backend infrastructure, delivering high‑performance APIs, databases, and caching layers that enable hundreds of engineers to ship code quickly and reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend API services, databases, and caching layers supporting frontend operations.
• Own CI/CD tooling, including GitHub Actions and internal full‑stack tools built with Node.js and Golang.
• Drive architecture and integrations for our NX monorepo to ensure scalability.
• Identify development bottlenecks and implement backend solutions to reduce build times and improve test infrastructure.
• Support build, release, and API needs for our Electron‑based desktop client.
• Collaborate with Developer Experience, SRE, and Test Infrastructure teams to create a seamless delivery pipeline.

Required profile

• 5–9 years of professional experience as a full‑stack or backend engineer.
• Hands‑on experience designing and managing relational or NoSQL databases and implementing caching solutions such as Redis or Memcached.
• Proficiency in building scalable backends with TypeScript/Node.js and a strong desire or experience with Golang.
• Familiarity with modern frontend build tools and package managers (NX, Vite, Webpack, Node/Bun, NPM/PNPM/Yarn).
• Deep understanding of continuous delivery principles and tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
