Full Stack Engineer (Gig) - AI Experience Layer

About the role

EY GDS Consulting is hiring a Full Stack Engineer (Senior rank) in Chennai for a gig role within the AIA family. The engineer designs, builds and supports secure, scalable enterprise web applications and AI-enabled experience layers, combining frontend engineering, backend services, API and data integration, real-time streaming, cloud-native deployment, automated testing, accessibility, observability and production support.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain the web application: React JS front ends and Python (FastAPI) back-end APIs deployed on a shared AWS platform.
• Integrate enterprise systems such as SharePoint, Snowflake and Figma (REST API) on a shared integration gateway.
• Design data models on Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB and S3, and work with document processing (Textract), vector search and the knowledge graph (Neo4j).
• Ship through shared CI/CD and Terraform (IaC) pipelines, with Entra ID / Cognito authentication and secure-by-design practices.
• Develop GenAI features using Amazon Bedrock (Claude) through a shared model gateway, including prompt engineering, RAG over the vector store, Bedrock Guardrails and evaluation and feedback loops.

Required profile

• 5+ years of full stack experience.
• Ability to discuss enterprise, pre-production or production implementations, including business context, technical design, controls, delivery approach and outcomes.
• Certifications and personal demonstrations supplement but do not replace implementation experience.
