Full Stack Developer I

About the role

FedEx is seeking a Full Stack Developer I to work closely with solution advisors and architects in designing, building, and delivering high‑performing, secure software components. You will contribute to both front‑end and back‑end development, ensure code quality, and act as the owner of demo content while mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with advisors to break down epics into capabilities and define solution designs.
• Write scalable, resilient micro‑services and front‑end code that meet performance and security standards.
• Lead code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and enforce best development practices.
• Manage competing priorities, provide status updates, and escalate issues to executive leadership.
• Own software demo content and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate communication across multiple development teams and vendor partners.
• Serve as backup for the development lead and mentor junior developers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, MIS or a related field.
• Relevant experience ranging from entry‑level (associate) to five years for senior roles.
• Fluency in English, strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PC tools.
