Frontend Engineer – Data Lake Platform

About the role

Onehouse is building a cloud‑native, self‑optimizing data lake platform. As a Frontend Engineer you will create the command‑center UI that lets users interact with massive, petabyte‑scale data flows and generative‑AI features.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement high‑performance visualisations for large‑scale data pipelines using React, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Lead the development of AI‑native interfaces, enabling natural‑language interactions such as schema generation and pipeline debugging.
• Bridge the gRPC‑web gap to stream complex infrastructure states to the frontend with low latency.
• Shape UX patterns for a new industry category, moving from clunky enterprise tools to elegant cloud‑native experiences.
• Collaborate with backend and data platform teams to ensure seamless integration of open‑source Apache Hudi capabilities.

Required profile

• Self‑driven builder with experience delivering large‑scale, high‑performance web applications.
• Passion for tackling complex distributed‑system challenges from a frontend perspective.
• Ability to work in a fast‑moving startup environment and influence product direction.
