Frontend Developer (Hybrid, Gurugram)

About the role

Mercer is looking for a Frontend Developer to join its Technology team in Gurugram. This hybrid position requires at least three days per week on‑site and focuses on building the client‑side of web applications that deliver a great user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable code with an emphasis on quality and simplicity.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and back‑end teams to deliver features from design through deployment.
• Participate in design, code, and test case reviews.
• Develop responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Analyze change requests, estimate effort, and implement solutions efficiently.
• Identify and fix UI issues in existing pages and ensure cross‑browser/device compatibility.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience with React.
• Strong understanding of web concepts, JavaScript, and modern client‑side technologies.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Ability to demonstrate past programming work through code walkthroughs.
