Front Office Supervisor

About the role

Minimalist Hotels is seeking a confident, guest‑focused Front Office Supervisor to lead the front desk team at its Panjim property. You will oversee daily front office operations, ensure smooth check‑in and check‑out processes, and create a warm, efficient experience for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support Front Office Associates during shifts.
• Manage check‑in/check‑out, room assignments, reservations, walk‑ins and guest records.
• Handle guest queries, requests and complaints, ensuring timely resolution.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Reservations, F&B and other departments for seamless operations.
• Oversee billing, cash handling, shift closing and accurate reporting.
• Maintain reception area cleanliness and lobby readiness.
• Train staff on SOPs, PMS usage and guest‑handling standards.
• Assist in upselling rooms, upgrades and hotel services.

Required profile

• Graduate or 12th pass with relevant hospitality experience.
• 1–3 years in front office operations, preferably in a boutique hotel.
• Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong communication in English and Hindi; additional languages are beneficial.
• Ability to work rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Property Management System (PMS).
• Basic computer operations.
