About the role
The Front Office & Guest Services Supervisor ensures smooth check‑in and check‑out operations, delivers exceptional guest experiences, and supports the front‑office team at our Marriott property in Vagator Beach, Goa.
Key responsibilities
- Process all guest check‑ins, verify identity, payment method, assign rooms and issue keys.
- Set up accurate guest accounts, enter Marriott Rewards information and ensure correct rate application.
- Secure payment prior to key issuance, handle vouchers, paid‑outs and other charge types.
- Compile and review daily reports, cashier and closing reports, and manage bank drops.
- Provide guests with directions, property information and fulfill special requests by coordinating with appropriate staff.
- Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any theft reports.
- Assist management with training, evaluating, counseling, motivating and coaching front‑office employees.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, safety procedures and confidentiality requirements.
- Welcome guests, assist individuals with disabilities, answer phones professionally and ensure quality standards.
- Operate computers and POS systems, and perform physical tasks such as lifting objects up to 10 lb.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related hospitality work experience.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
- No specific license or certification required.
