Front Office Executive

About the role

Minimalist Hotels is seeking a Front Office Executive to deliver warm, design‑led guest experiences. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling check‑ins, check‑outs, and a range of service requests while ensuring smooth operations across departments.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests professionally during check‑in and check‑out.
• Manage reservations, room allocations, and guest requests efficiently.
• Maintain accurate guest records and payment details in the PMS.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready.
• Respond promptly to guest queries, complaints, and service requests.
• Facilitate communication between departments for operational efficiency.
• Handle phone calls, emails, and walk‑in inquiries with professionalism.
• Provide guests with local information, travel assistance, and hotel services.
• Keep the front desk and lobby area clean and organized.
• Follow SOPs, billing procedures, and cash‑handling policies.
• Upsell rooms and hotel services where applicable.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction and a positive stay experience.

Required profile

• Graduate or diploma holder in Hospitality or a related field (preferred).
• 1–2 years of experience in hotel front‑office operations (freshers with strong communication skills may also apply).
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Hindi.
• Pleasant personality with strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Guest‑centric attitude with problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Property Management System (PMS) software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
