About the role
The Front Office Executive is the first point of contact for guests at Marriott Suites Pune. You will ensure smooth check‑in and check‑out processes, handle guest inquiries, and support the front‑desk team in delivering high‑quality service.
Key responsibilities
- Process all guest check‑ins, verify identity, payment method, assign rooms and issue keys.
- Set up accurate guest accounts, enter Marriott Rewards information and ensure correct rates.
- Secure payment prior to key issuance, handle vouchers, paid‑outs, and charge processing.
- Compile and review daily reports, cashier and closing reports, and maintain contingency lists.
- Provide guests with directions, property information and fulfill special requests by coordinating with other staff.
- Balance cash receipts, count and secure the bank at shift start and end, and obtain manual authorizations when needed.
- Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any theft reports and follow accounting procedures.
- Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling and motivating front‑desk employees.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related front‑office or hospitality experience.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
- No specific license or certification required.
Required skills
- Proficiency with POS (point‑of‑sale) systems and general computer operation.
- Cash handling and basic accounting procedures.
